Just uninstall/disable the mod before booting up again. If you accidentally boot up to the Cinders/Convergence/whatever mod you install title screen on your main Steam acc, close the game manually with task manager before pressing start to avoid your save file being scanned, and you should be fine. If you're using a mod that bans anyway, use mod engine as it's more convenient. If the mod is installed via mod engine, you can uninstall it by renaming dinput8.dll to anything else, then back again to reinstall. As others have said, you can use Steam library share if you wish to play a mod such as Cinders, just make sure it's always uninstalled when you boot up your main Steam account. Note that nothing will ban if you only play offline and delete your save file when you go back online. UXM = safe (unless it modifies any of the param files such as Data0.bdt) Basically, anything that affects your save file will ban almost guaranteed.
